My name is Andrew Stringham and I wanted to take a moment to share my gratitude for St. George Dental, Dr. Colton, and his staff. My history is colorful to say the least. Growing up with poor hygiene habits and later in life getting lost in active addiction. These things had a terrible impact on my teeth and self confidence to the point I grew out my beard to hide my teeth and my smile. I was very very much embarrassed by the fact that I had not taken care of myself. Just recently I was able to earn a promotion at work that would put me in a more public facing position, which would be greatly impacted by my personal appearance.
Through hard work and strong commitment I was able to secure enough funding and support to get my teeth and my smile back. If you as an individual have ever had even something as small as a chipped front tooth as an adult, even if it was caused by an accident, the impact that it has on your self esteem is tremendous and it isn't something you can hide from. It can have a large impact on your daily choices. What you eat. Who you talk to. Where you go. Most importantly, how often you let yourself laugh.
As soon as I walked into St. George Dental, they made me feel at home. Like I had known them for years and years. They allowed me to feel confident enough to be open about my past and honest about what I needed. Dr. Colton is amazing at what he does. He listens with purpose and his staff never judged me. Together they made my journey feel exciting and I couldn't wait to get back to the dentist. Lol, said no one ever.
Now, I don't cover my mouth when I talk. I don't have to worry about being judged by others. I can smile and laugh without restraint. They have given me back something that I believed was gone forever. Piece of mind and confidence. Thank you St. George Dental, Dr. Colton, and your wonderful staff.
They have made it possible for me to be confident in life again, and they have given back to me the ability to laugh as large and as loud as I want. I will forever be grateful.
